On July 29th, with the sun blazing and temperatures soaring to 100 degrees, The Apostles’ House brought the community together for an unforgettable Family Fun Day on Apostles’ House Way.

Thanks to the generous support of NRS Solutions and the New Jersey Devils, our guests and their families enjoyed an afternoon filled with music, delicious food, face painting, games, and a crowd-favorite dunk tank—a perfect way to cool off in the summer heat.

Just as the celebration was in full swing, a brief summer rain shower rolled through—but that didn’t stop the show. Laughter and music continued under tents and umbrellas, and when the sun returned, so did the dancing and fun.

Our amazing NRS Cares volunteers kept the energy high and helped ensure every family felt seen, supported, and celebrated.

In the face of record heat and passing storms, our community showed up with joy, resilience, and a shared commitment to making lasting memories. Events like this remind us that even in challenging times, joy is still possible—and necessary.

Thank you to everyone who made Family Fun Day a celebration to remember!
