The Apostles’ House Named Finalist for Impact100 Essex Grant

We are proud to share that The Apostles’ House was recently selected as a finalist for the 2025 Impact100 Essex grant award—an incredible honor that speaks volumes about the important work our team is doing to support women and families facing homelessness in Newark.

While we were not selected as the grand prize recipient, we are thrilled to have received a $10,000 grant in recognition of our efforts. This support will go a long way in helping us continue to provide trauma-informed shelter, case management, and workforce development programming to some of the most vulnerable members of our community.

We extend heartfelt congratulations to Perinatal Health Equity Initiative (PHEI), the 2025 Impact100 Essex grant winner, for their powerful work improving health outcomes for Black mothers and birthing people across New Jersey. We celebrate their well-deserved recognition and the lasting impact they are making.

Being named a finalist for this prestigious award reaffirms our mission—and inspires us to keep going. Thank you to Impact100 Essex and its dedicated members for believing in our vision and investing in solutions that uplift and empower.

Together, we’re transforming lives. One step, one voice, one home at a time.
